While it's easy to identify yourself as a beginner, it's a real challenge to figure out where you fall in that wide spectrum beyond beginner. We don't expect you to know which of our levels is right for you, we only expect you to take an initial guess.

You probably should consider yourself Advanced if you are quite good in Spanish, whether you have spent years studying it, or simply are very talented with languages. You can express yourself well in many situations, even if your spoken use of advanced structures is limited or shaky. In your classroom experience, you have studied and been tested on the most advanced concepts of Spanish, but at times you still feel like you're being held back by some clunky, inefficient thought processes to come up with the right way to say what you want. Remember: you can consider yourself an advanced student, even if you don't consider yourself an advanced speaker.
