EXPERIENCED BEGINNER

Is this level right for you?

Starting as an experienced beginner is likely to be the right choice if you have experience in Spanish and are familiar with the basics, which doesn't necessarily mean that you are comfortable using them in the real world! It may even be appropriate if you have a significant background in another Latin-based language.

However, if you 1) have taken 3 to 4 years of high school Spanish, 2) did well AND 3) remember a significant amount, you shouldn't (should not) consider yourself an Experienced Beginner.

Fill our "Importante Formulario de Contacto" (see "En Contacto") if you think that starting as an experienced beginner would be right for you, and we'll let you know if we think so, too.

Why isn't our schedule posted on line?

We don't follow a Field-of-Dreams-if-you-build-it-they-will-come approach to scheduling. Why not? Because we avoid what happens at many language schools: a significant number of pre-scheduled classes are cancelled at the last minute due to low enrollment.

We always have a steady stream of interested students at all levels, so our approach to scheduling works well. A new group starts when we hit the minimum of 3, and depending on the classroom, maxes out at 5 to 8.

We may suggest visiting a group in progress

We also have many groups in progress that are at various points in the Experienced Beginner level of our program. We may suggest a 3-lesson trial (and we only suggest a trial if we are quite sure the group will be a good fit for you).

Your first step is to fill out our "Importante Formulario de Contacto". Then we'll be able to steer you in the right direction.
