NO-PRESSURE EVALUACIÓN - Instrucciones
Help us find the right level at Spanish Circle for you... before you submit any of our placement sentences (links above in a row from set A to set F), please read these instructions.
This is not a test, so don't take this exercise as some kind of entrance exam. You don't need to do well for us to recommend an appropriate class, you need to do poorly.
¿En serio?
¡Sí! Just think of us as Spanish-language 'doctors' checking your Spanish-language 'health': we want to see what is wrong so we can help you get better. We can't treat you if you hide your symptoms!
Instrucciones Importantes
1. Make sure to first submit our "Importante Formulario de Contacto" so we know who you are.
2. Give us an accurate portrait of your written Spanish: please don't consult dictionaries, texts,
or get help from friends.
3. Use Spanglish and circumlocution to compensate for vocabulary gaps.
4. Don't do more than 2 sets, and don't do a set if you think it's easy.
5. Type-A personalities: Really, chill out, will ya?
We're leaving it up to you to choose which 1 or 2 sets will demonstrate what ails you. Before starting a set, scan it to make sure it looks challenging. Set A is the easiest (but definitely not easy), and they get harder up through Set F.
For any given set, doing well is relative: in our diagnosis, we'll consider how long you studied Spanish, how long ago, and where.
